The freedom you're looking for is on the other side of a truth you're avoiding.
Most founders don't get stuck because of strategy, they get stuck because of a truth they're not saying out loud. The way forward isn't more speed, it's slowing down long enough to remember who you actually are underneath it all.

You’re not short of advice. You’re short of honesty.
Every founder who finds their way here has already tried the obvious things. Lack of effort has never halted progress.
What holds you back is the thing that isn't being said, the truth you can feel but haven't let yourself name.
Is this you?
Who are you?
A founder. £500k+ in revenue, one to five years in.
Responsible for more than the numbers: the vision, a team, a partner, shareholders.
Close enough to the coalface to feel every decision land. Too experienced to pretend you don't already know what needs to change.
Why are you here?
Because something's off. You thought getting here would feel different. Finished, even.
It doesn't.
You can't quite name it yet, but you've got a strong idea.
You just haven't said it out loud.
What's it costing you?
Decisions that keep coming back to you, delegation that never sticks.
A team you're carrying instead of trusting.
And the low hum of a question you try not to hear: is this really it?
What do you actually want?
Permission to stop performing.
To be who you actually are, and create from that place.
Someone who's already made the expensive mistakes, who'll open doors and get things moving, not give you more to think about.
Exits. Losses. Raises.
Everything in between.
Still building.
I am Daniel Rowntree, father, founder, investor and coach.
Sober since 2022. I've helped raise £50 million, sold a 45-person agency, moved continents for a VC role that lasted six weeks, and lost £200k in a gym because I avoided a truth I already knew. I've delighted shareholders and told others their investment was gone. I have managed everyone from a chairman to a kitchen porter.
I am currently building a social wellness brand Mood Haus, in public.
Some of what's come out of the work.
Three ways to work with me.
Each path is built for a different moment in your journey.
We choose the one that matches where you are now.

Five questions. Ten minutes.
The most useful mirror you'll look into this year.
The Truth Audit finds the pattern you're running from. It's not a personality test. It's not a bit of fun. It's a mirror, and most founders don't love what they see first.
It ends where the real work starts: a conversation, booked straight into my calendar.
